It's free, and it always will be. Everything stays on your device. If it helps your family, that's the whole point.

How to use Voqo

A quick start. You can open this again any time from the ℹ️ button.

Tap a picture
It says the word out loud.

Build a sentence
Tap a few pictures, then press Speak. Prefer each tap to speak straight away? Turn the sentence bar off in settings.

Add your own
Tap the pencil, tap a button, then add a photo and your own word. Real photos of their things work best.

Just for grown-ups
The pencil and settings ask for your code, so the board can't be changed by accident.

Keep it safe
In settings, tap Back up board and save the file. Restore it on a new device so nothing is lost.

I built this app because I couldn't find a free, simple talking board for my daughter. She's autistic, and the ones I found were either expensive or hard to get hold of.

So I made this, and I'm sharing it free in case it helps your family too.

Tap a picture and it speaks. Add your own photos and words for the things your child knows best.

Set up the board

Pick how much to start with. You can add, change or remove anything later, and swap any picture for your own photo.

This keeps the edit and settings screens locked so your child can't change the board by accident. You can change it later in settings.

For grown-ups

Enter the grown-up code

Add a button

Settings

Opens edit and settings so the board can't be changed by accident. Default is 1234.

Back up saves everything, including your photos, to a file you can keep in iCloud Drive, Google Drive or Files. Restore it on a new device so nothing is lost.
